After the mules we watched a man tame & ride a horse. The horse had never been ridden.
He went thru a series of routines to calm and sooth the horse and also prepare it for riding. Here he applies his weight to the horses back.
After the saddle was put on the horse decided to buck.
He worked the horse by getting it to lie down. The man was very patient.
By the end of the session, he was riding the horse.
