Lillian's Dedication

On the 18th of December we attended Lillian's dedication at Joanne's and Alan's house. Jim Roy, the minister who had married Joanne & Alan officiated the dedication.

Here is Lillian with her great aunt Gwen. This was Gwen's first time to see Lillian and they got along great.

Being dedicated gives a girl a powerful thirst.

Grandpa will make sure Lillian gets the proper amount of attention.

Judi's Christmas Program

In the Christmas program, Judi was an angel. Imagine that. Judi is the second angel on the right.

Judi did a great job with their songs and motions for the songs.

Judi was a beautiful angel.

Family Visit Part I

Arrival
Jonathan and Christine and the kids came out from Missouri to visit. We picked them up at the airport.

On the way home, we stopped for supper at The Bear Pit. It is a place the family used to like many years ago.

Of course Michael preferred to sit alone.

Haven posed with a carved bear.

Family Visit Part II

Family get-together
This was the first time the family had all been together in many years. It was fun around the table.

Judi and Haven had not seen each other since Kaleb's dedication a year and a half ago. They are 5 and 3 years old and had to learn to play together.

Kaleb and Levi had fun with Michael's toys.

The girls enjoyed posing with each other while the boys just wanted to explore.

Lillian was the latest addition to the family and had fun watching all the cousins.

Family Visit Part III

Bounce House
Joanne brought Kaleb's bounce house and it was a life saver. The kids were able to get their wiggles out during the day.

Baby Lillian and grandpa just watched.

When Michael got in and started bouncing the little kids ran for their lives.

Joanne waited till the older kids were done, then Lillian was allowed in the house.

Family Visit Part IV

Playtime
The weather was beautiful and we were able to be out with the kids. Grandpa pulled the boys in the wagon.

The adults sat on the patio and watched.

Family Visit Part V

Cookies
With the girls together, it was a good time to decorate cookies. Main rule was "do not lick the knife".

The girls had a great time. Licking fingers was OK.

Lillian was upset because they would not let her decorate.

Christmas
While all the kids were together, we decided to exchange Christmas gifts. Here all the grandkids are waiting patiently to start opening gifts.

Haven received princess outfits and she and Judi enjoyed trying them on. Levi was wearing his new outfit and wanted to be in the picture.

Haircuts
We brought in the best stylist in the Antelope Valley, Melissa, to cut Levi's and Haven's hair while they were here.

Thanksgiving

We had the family over for Thanksgiving dinner. Mary cooked the turkey. It was her first time cooking a turkey.
Mary made sure the table was decorated correctly.

Here is the family around the table.
