Oatman

This sign tells the story of Oatman's burros.

This is one of the places of interest.

Items of interest from a local shop.

This eatery was named for the girl that the town was originally named for. Olive was kidnapped by indians and then rescued by the townfolks.
T
During the day there were gunfights and bank robberies performed by local performers.

Another interesting shop.

While walking around the town we saw a local cowboy and dance hall queen.

We checked out all the local establishments.

The burros are thru out the town and sometimes in the way.

Michael had bought a tee shirt and this burro decided to try and eat it. We were able to get it away and save the tee shirt.

If a car stopped and the window was down the burros would be looking for carrots.

We bought some kettle corn but had to get by the burro.

Here is a mare and her colt.

We stopped a grizzled miner to pose for a picture. The road behind him is part of the original "Route 66".
